WHAT


Ore is an aggregate of minerals and contains valuable and gangue minerals .The mineral beneficiation involves separations of gangue minerals from ore and is done in the following two stages:

1. Liberation of valuable mineral by size reduction technologies. In most ores the valuable minerals is distributed in the matrix of ore.  

2. Concentration technologies to separate the gangue minerals and to achieve increase in the content of the valuable mineral to increase the metal grade



HOW


Typical beneficiation processes include crushing, roasting, magnetic separation, flotation, and leaching.

We pass the raw material at different speed and angles to allow the impurities to liberate. Sometimes crushing it further to finer sizes make it possible.



Why


Resources are limited, and they have formed after millions of years of evolutions and a result of so many atmospheric changes such as Volcanic deposits and earth crust movements.

Gold / Diamond / Copper / Lithium etc all are found in a raw manner where we need to beneficiate all the minerals to get our desired output. In Early 1980s we were throwing away Fe 62-63 Grade ore as dump, today we have to ensure to maximise what we can and preserve the balance for future.

Ethically its wrong to discard what Mother Earth has given us, so we should use what we can and preserve the rest.

About Minerals

Ores are normally associated with unwanted gangue material. Grade of iron ore is usually determined by the total Fe content in the ore. Run of mines ores after dry or wet sizing, if it contains normally greater than 62 % of Fe, are known as ‘natural ore’ or ‘direct shipping ore’ (DSO). These ores can be directly used in the production of iron and steel. All other ores need beneficiation and certain processing before they are used in the production of iron and steel.
